In this level two embroidered mending class we will cover the following:
Different types of mending stitches and what kinds of repairs to use them for.
How to turn basic embroidery stitches into showstoppers with a little embellishment.
Incorporating non traditional applique techniques into your mending or embroidery designs.
We will cover repairs for knits and woven fabrics.
We will explore creating your own embroidery designs that can stand alone or be incorporated into mending.
We will get a plan ready for you to make your next stitching project a show stopper.
I will have basic sewing supplies on hand for everyone, including fabric scraps and some fiber for stitching. I will also bring extra embroidery hoops you can use during class if you don’t already have one. If you do have your own hand stitching supplies, feel free to bring them to class.
Other supplies you will need:
